"Dis die beste plekkie om weg te breek van die stadslewe, as jy net 'n bietjie stilte en rustigheid wil hê. Al die mense is vriendelik en het dit vir ons so veilig gemaak met die Level 4. Ons kon nog steeds al ons avonture veilig doen. Wonderlike plek en mense."

"Umdloti is 'n skitterende vakansiedorp. Die lieflike strande en lekker kuierplekke maak dit uniek. Die mense hier is vriendelik en die atmosfeer is rustig."
"The beach is one of the best in KZN. One can walk onto the beach from San Lameer and walk along lovely level and sandy beach from Marina Beach to Trafalgar Beach. There is safe bathing either in the tidal pool or sea with life guards on duty. We enjoyed watching the fishermen, surfers and cyclists on the beach. Very good pizza take-away/restaurant called O'Nellys in Southbroom."

"Uvongo beach is a small but nice beach. Unfortunately during our stay there had been a sewage pipe that had contaminated the water so no swimming. Lucky for us there are other beaches close by that we could visit."
