"We could not find any restaurants in Doonside, but Warner beach which is very close has a nice rustic restaurant which has pensioner specials. The food was delicious and well priced. There is a Fruit and Veg shop across the railway line which sells almost anything, and there is a lovely shopping centre a short distance away. If you are looking for bright lights and entertainment you would have to travel, but if you need to rest and just enjoy the sea and the beach it is ideal."
