"A lovely coastal small town and people are very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend as a break from the hustle and bustle of city life."
"First time for us but as all towns as soon as a foreign vehicle is spotted the street beggars hound one. A visit to the doctor gives one peace of mind should one be required, tourist information was very helpful and friendly and the local supermarket provides all ones food requirements. I'm told the time to be there is during the Snoek run."
"Lambertsbaai het 'n klein vissershawe, maar die dorp is gewild en die see so blou. Daar is heerlike eetplekke en klein winkels wat besoek kan word. Dit sal altyd 'n uitstekende vakansiebestemming wees. 'n Mens kan lang ente langs die see stap met fantastiese uitsigte."
"Rustige dorp waar jy lekker kan ontspan en tog is daar alles wat jy nodig het - van 'n Spar tot verskeie koffiewinkels en Rosemead bakkery met heerlike gebak. Ook verskeie restaurante. Lieflike lang strand. Mens kan lekker ver stap langs die see!"
"Yzerfontein is rustig met sy mooie natuurskoon en lieflike see-uitsig op sovele plekke. Vriendelike mense in winkels en restaurante. Kos was van gehalte. Kry ook so 'n stukkie natuurlewe ook by. Beveel dit aan vir elkeen wat hou van rustigheid en lekker ontspan. Veilig en netjies."
"The only complaint that I do have is the litter and broken glass on the beach. On our last day, my husband and I took a plastic bag to pick up the rubbish left behind by people who had a great time on the beach but are too lazy to pick up after themselves. The broken glass is dangerous to children and adults walking barefoot. I would suggest a Move One Million beach cleanup."
"Beautiful beach but uncomfortable divide between the haves and have nots results in quite aggressive abrasive pestering by those selling unwanted crayfish, mussels, shell ornament etc."
