Relaxing and rejuvenating. Relaxing. Staff members are truly excellent. Caring, friendly and courteous. The view over the ocean is gorgeous with the sound of waves to lull you while you sleep.

Ontspanne huislike atmosfeer. Vandat ons arriveer het tot met ons vertrek, was alles werklik net 'n fees! Vriendelikheid in oorvloed en alle personeel so behulpsaam. Uitsig is onverbeterlik! Ons het in beide eetareas en alle geregte was van hoogstaande gehalte en regtig smaaklik en geurig. Die ontbyt is ook 'n wenner. Sal beslis weer daar gaan ontspan.

What was once a cherished weekend escape has become a tradition for our family, and over three decades later, it remains an absolute gem in the Western Cape – perhaps the finest coastal retreat in the province. Nestled right on the edge of the Indian Ocean, with panoramic views of endless turquoise waves, pristine white beaches, and the charming historic fishing village of Kassiesbaai, the hotel's location is simply unparalleled. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, many with private balconies perfect for watching the sunset. The food is outstanding – fresh local seafood, hearty breakfast buffets, and delightful dinners that never disappoint. But what truly sets the Arniston Spa Hotel apart is the warmth and dedication of its people. The staff are brilliant: friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring, always going the extra mile to make you feel at home. Amazing, we loved it, we will be back. Amazing, we loved it. Rusks and sherry were put in the room, turn downs with chocolate on your pillow was a lovely classic touch. The area and sea views were amazing. The weekend had a lovely vibe with people walking their dogs, children playing on the hotel lawn, and everyone sitting on the patio at the restaurant overlooking the sea was all wonderful. We went to Roman Beach each day, which was wonderful to swim in for adults and young children; we explored the cave at low tide. The hotel provides a wonderful buffet breakfast, with a fresh selection of everything. It was a wonderful holiday. We went in March, so the weather was not too hot, but rooms have no air conditioning. In the peak of summer, that might be a bit unpleasant.

Altyd 'n goeie ervaring by Arniston Hotel. Alles is soos gewoonlik uit die boeke. Hulle kan dalk net kyk om beddegoed en kussings te vervang. Dit voel nie meer soos hotel beddegoed nie. Uitgewas en deurgeslaap.

2nd visit to Arniston Hotel. We love Arniston and the hotel. Since last year, we have decided to go at least once a year. Lovely view and great food. Only downfall this year, we were in one of the ground floor rooms and beggars came by and stood at the gate calling. The spa itself is quite expensive. Looking forward to our next visit.
