Awesome, awesome defines a return trip. Awesome since arriving, loved every moment with the stunning scenery of the valley and the mountains. Cottage awesome with air conditioning and DStv a bonus. The braai area is great and can be used in the day and during the night.

Rustig, "cozy". Ons het vreeslik lekker gebly! Die uitsig is asemrowend, die plek was ook baie goed ingerig. Ons sal enige tyd weer besoek en aanraai!

Uitstekende rustige kuierplek. Baie lekker gekuier! Pragtige plek met asemrowende uitsig. Lekker privaat. Alles wat jy nodig het en nog meer. Alles in werkende toestand, skoon en mooi uitgelê. Sal baie beslis aanbeveel!

Gerieflik, mooi uitsig, familie vriendelik. Heerlik gebly. Huisie is baie mooi, skoon en als wat jy nodig het. 'n Aircon in die kamer sal als nog beter maak. Die aircon in huisie is te klein vir die hele area. Maar verder heerlik gebly. Honesty jar is 'n baie oulike idee.

Great views, clean and good times. I enjoyed my two days at the cottages. Oom Willie set the tone with a brief history of the farm, the area and past events - in the form of a booklet. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed reading through about baboons, snakes and Oom's approach to conservation. The road to the cottages is steep but paved and safe. The place was clean, fresh towels and great amenities. The only slight issue is the soundproofing. On the first night, the adjoined unit was unoccupied; on the last day, we had neighbours who were not loud at all, but we could hear their chatter without being able to make out what they were saying. Other than that, the views were fantastic!

Not what I was expected. Our time at Big Sky was enjoyable upon our arrival; however, we experienced a power outage on Friday evening that forced us to change our plans for the weekend, as the outage persisted throughout our stay. We recognise that the theft of the cables and breakers is not the owner's responsibility, but there should be a contingency plan established.

Hi Rendell, thank you for your feedback, although we are unsure why you posted this review on two platforms when we already responded to your first review as follows: Hi Rendell, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are truly sorry that your stay was impacted in such an unforeseen and disappointing way. This recent power outage was the longest we have ever experienced, and we were deeply concerned for all our guests who had to endure the extreme heat, lack of lighting, and loss of connectivity during that time. We’re glad to hear that you found the facilities enjoyable upon arrival, and we appreciate that you understand the outage was outside of our control. We mention in our "Welcome Pack" that we send to guests in advance what we do and do not provide in the event of a power failure. However, we do understand your frustration regarding how significantly it affected your stay, as it was the longest one we have experienced because of multiple cable thefts in our area over that weekend.
