Description
Bretton Beach Crest Holiday Cottages offers clean, simply furnished self-catering little beach cottages and is situated on the outskirts of Port Alfred, 4 km for the town centre, in the natural coastal dune forest. These cottages are ideal for couples or families looking for comfortable accommodation close to the beach and other attractions.
The resort comprises of 9 units, all separate from each other and most of them have sea views. Each cottage sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children (not 6 adults). There is either a double bed or 2 single beds in the main bedroom, a double bunk for children in the second bedroom and 2 single beds in the living area. Each unit has one bathroom which has a shower over the bath and a separate toilet, a well-equipped kitchen that contains a fridge-freezer, a microwave and a gas stove with an oven. Guests are required to bring their own towels and toiletries.
All cottages have a TV with limited DStv Easyview channels, as well as a braai area. There is monitored security, CCTV and beams. The units are within 150 m from the beach where guests can explore rock pools, collect shells, swim or go fishing. There is a kiddies tidal pool in the rocks in front. Guests are welcome to bring their own DStv decoder and smartcard for full DStv access.
Port Alfred offers general shopping facilities, restaurants, sporting activities, boat hire, hiking trails and canoe rentals, horse riding and golf at the Royal Port Alfred Golf Course. This area is perfect for avid birdwatchers.
The owners stay on the property and are always available to be on stand-by for guests.
