Friendly, clean, relaxing, affordable with great facilities. Very nice campsite with lovely facilities. The reception area has a big swimming pool, tennis courts, a chapel, an amazing garden and gorgeous sea views. Where we camped at the caravan section, there was a horse farm next door, so you are greeted with a view of horses. They also seem to have a section for youth camps, and it is a very Christian place. Very affordable and lovely facilities.

Carmel is so tranquil. We had a wonderful overnight stay.

Beautiful adventures place. Felt very safe and at ease. The place offers a lot of activity and adventure. Not a fan of communal kitchens and fridges, so the only downside.

Goeie familie oord vir mense met klein kinders. Geen yskas, lugversorging of WiFi in kamers nie. Die omgewing is rustig met 'n groot swembad, en aktiwiteite word aangebied vir jong kinders. Jy moet ry om by die strand te kom.

The place itself is nicely located but not ready or well maintained for camping. We waited very long to be checked in or to be assisted as we arrived the evening around 18:00 after a vehicle breakdown. It was dark, some lights were not working on the camping site. We could not find the specific site due to darkness. Nobody was available to assist us or provide direction until after about 30 minutes of waiting and looking around. Campsite not well maintained, grass long and some plugs and lights not working. Ablution block needs attention.
