Hidden escape. Some places feel like a getaway. This place feels like stepping into your own private corner of the forest. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was calm and magical. The glass cabin tucked between the trees creates such a unique experience. You’re surrounded by nature, yet still completely comfortable. Waking up with sunlight filtering through the leaves and falling across the bed was one of those simple moments you wish you could pause. One of the highlights was definitely the outdoor bath under the trees. During the day it feels peaceful and hidden away in nature, and at night the warm lights create the most beautiful, romantic setting. Sitting there, listening to the sounds of the forest, you almost forget the outside world exists. Everything about the stay felt thoughtful and intentional, from the design of the space to the quiet privacy it offers. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and you can just enjoy being present. If you’re looking for a romantic escape or a peaceful nature retreat, this is truly a special spot. We left feeling relaxed, reconnected, and already wishing we could stay longer.

Per above. We enjoyed our stay very much. My only warning to future guests is to note that the self-catering facilities are really as described in the advert being "heating facilities". Although there is a braai area, the facilities can only accommodate braaing meat and perhaps a potjie (if you bring your own pot). There are no pots or pans to cook anything (unless you bring your own and cook in the fire). Jaco is very responsive and the unit is small but lovely. The outside bath and setting were a delightful experience.

It was a magical experience and wonderful memories were made. It was much smaller than we thought, but I suppose it needed to be to get the cabin in the woods feel. The only suggestion I would make is to leave bubble bath at the bath or encourage guests to bring their own.

Peaceful and refreshing. We had such a beautiful stay here. The place is made mostly of glass and surrounded by trees, so it really feels like you’re living in a treehouse. It’s private, quiet, and the perfect spot to relax and reconnect. The bed was soft and comfortable with enough back support, and the bathroom had everything we needed, including a great rain shower. We loved spending time on the patio listening to the birds and enjoying the breeze through the trees. The outdoor bath was a real highlight — we enjoyed a romantic fairy-light soak one night and a refreshing splash during the day. The braai and fire pit area under the stars was another favourite; it made our evenings so special. Overall, the stay was peaceful and rejuvenating. We left feeling rested and can’t wait to come back for a longer visit next time!
