Absolutely fantastic. Had a memorable couple of days with family. Amazing property. Breathtaking views of the ocean. All you need for a family stay is supplied. I will highly recommend this property for a large family or group of friends. Please note, however, that there are a lot of stairs. Each bedroom is on a different level and there are stairs to get to each of the bedrooms. It might be a problem for persons with mobility issues.

Spacious accommodation with sea view. With a stunning view of Simon’s Town harbour and False Bay, Dolphin Cottage is perfect for a relaxing getaway and is also a good base for exploring local beaches and towns. As a family of seven (two adults, five kids), we enjoyed the spacious rooms and the cottage is equipped with everything we needed for a fun self-catering holiday. Simon’s Town itself has a wonderful history, and we especially enjoyed the wartime stories of Nuisance the dog (my grandpa remembers travelling with him on the train!). Kalk Bay is brilliant for shopping and stopping for a sea view coffee, and we enjoyed the tidal pool at St James beach (which is also great for kids)! Kommetjie is excellent for bodyboarding and local wetsuit hire is well priced and easily accessible. There are so many fun things to do in Cape Town and there’s always sitting on the balcony at Dolphin Cottage and enjoying the chill vibe of the area. Barry, who manages the cottage, is super friendly and full of local knowledge. Our top tip for the steep driveway is to go in at an angle and your back bumper will not scrape. Some of the baboon-safe blinds were difficult to unlock but we were happy to be kept baboon-free nonetheless. We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the hill in Simon’s Town - thank you for having us!

Relaxing, comfortable, clean, central and spacious. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Dolphin Cottage had great, spacious and very clean accommodation. It was very well equipped with decent appliances. Barry, who met me there, was very friendly and efficient. It was a pleasure staying there and I would definitely recommend it to others. The only criticism I would have is that the upstairs bedrooms were hot and the entire place could do with air conditioning or ceiling fans to make it a perfect stay.

Son, see en ontspan! Ons het heerlik in Dolphin Cottage gewoon. Simonstad is 'n juweel en veral die uitsig van Dolphin Cottage af is regtig besonders. Barry was baie behulpsaam en het mooi verduidelik hoe alles werk. Hy was ook heeltemal betyds om sleutels te oorhandig en weer te ontvang. Ek dink net die eienaar kan belê in goeie beddegoed en handdoeke. Dit was vir my jammer dat 'n huis op so 'n pragtige plek met verwaarloosde linne (skoon, net oud) toegerus was. Ek besef dat dit aan baie mense uitverhuur word, en dat mens nie noodwendig baie duur linne wil voorsien nie, maar 'n goeie standaard wat linne en handdoeke aanbetref sal die eiendom lig na iets absoluut besonders. Die bobbejane het ons kom verras terwyl ons braai, maar dit is deel van die charm van Simonstad en naby aan die natuur wees. Ek wil benadruk dat die huis hom absoluut na 'n heerlike, ontspanne naweek leen, en dat ons regtig ons tyd daar geniet het.

Ontspanne en heerlik. Die huis is goed toegerus, netjies en veilig. Daar is ook genoeg om jou mee besig te hou in die nabye omgewing, sou jy wou.

Fantasties! Wow wow wow. Wat 'n pragtige woning. En die uitsig was absoluut amazing! Sou bitter graag 'n tumble dryer wou hê, maar alles was fantasties!

Lonely home and spacious with all the amenities. We had a great stay at 22 Dolphin Way. Great views and very spacious. We appreciated the Internet. Great service from Barry. He really was helpful in many ways.

Pragtige huis met mooi uitsig op Valsbaai. Ons was vriendelik ontvang deur Barry en hy het ons gou tuis laat voel. Die huis is netjies skoon en gerieflik met ekstra handdoeke in die kas. Ons kon heerlik ontspan en het die mooi uitsig waardeer. Alles is gerieflik naby en die omgewing is stil en rustig.

'n Juweel in Simonstad! Hierdie huis bied uiterse verblyfgenot vir enigeen wat daar tuisgaan! Met 'n asemrowende uitsig en die hoë standaard van die geriewe is daar geen twyfel dat dit uitstekende waarde vir geld is nie!
