Peaceful, well-located and welcoming. We enjoyed a truly lovely stay at Fox Hill Guest House in Dullstroom from 4–5 January 2026, a perfect quick break before the hustle and bustle of the new year set in. The atmosphere was wonderfully tranquil and restful, exactly what we needed. The location is ideal: almost in town, yet still quiet, private, and felt very safe, making it easy to relax from the moment we arrived. This wasn’t our first visit to Fox Hill. We previously stayed in the Loft in 2019, and this time we stayed in the Meadow, which we absolutely loved. It was beautifully private and thoughtfully laid out, adding to the sense of calm and seclusion. The host’s communication was excellent, with clear and friendly correspondence well in advance, which made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. All in all, it was a great stay. We would highly recommend Fox Hill Guest House and will most definitely stay again when we’re back in Dullstroom.

I will be back for sure. Fantastic. Very hospitable people and lovely surroundings. Excellent place to stay. Could not get access to TV unfortunately, but not serious as there were DVDs to watch at night.

Lovely place. Very helpful and friendly owner, cosy and calm place, close to restaurants. Very convenient from JNB airport to Blyde River Canyon.

Hulle sien my vir seker weer! So netjies, privaat en die vriendelikste mense! Het reeds aanbeveel aan vriende. Baie lekker geslaap, was so vriendelik ontvang. Die eienaar soveel moeite gedoen om nog akkommodasie vir my sussie hulle te soek al was alles reeds vol. Netjies, skoon en privaat.

Highly recommend for an overnight stay. Fox Hill Guest House is a charming spot for an overnight stay. The cottage was spotless and well-kept, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens. As a bonus, a friendly ginger cat might be there to welcome you when you arrive, adding a warm, personal touch to the experience.
