Fabulous. Loved it! Have to go! What to say about Groendraai River Cottages. From the moment we stepped foot into our unit, we were blown away. Everything was so clean, neat and tidy with beautiful furnishings. Lovely spacious patio area with braai, dining table and couch to relax on and watch nature go by. What blew us away was the attention to detail. The most luxurious soaps and lotion. Smelt like heaven. Beautifully decorated bathroom with a fab shower. And when you think you forgot something at home, just open a cupboard and it will probably be there. Even makeup wipes for the girls. Aircon in the living room was a lifesaver and gorgeous fans in every room. What was the highlight was the surprise of lush white gowns and slippers that made you feel like you are in a spa. The fishing was slow, but we did catch some decent bass. Also managed a barbel as well as Martin's PB Vleikurper. We hope to be back soon. Thank you for being such an accommodating host, as well as some of the other members of staff that went above and beyond to help us find the best fishing spots. The only thing we had a problem with was that we couldn't stay longer.

Amazing, perfect bush break in a stunning and stylish river cottage! We had an amazing weekend at Groendraai. We stayed in Silver Carp. The unit is stunning and stylish, with everything we needed and more. This unit has a beautiful view, closest to the river. The covered patio is lovely with the loungers, the outdoor couches, and the outdoor dining/braai area with the hot tub. We didn't even want to go anywhere; we just relaxed in nature. We loved the kayaking and running on the farm. We would recommend this unit to any couple for a romantic getaway or even two couples, as there are two rooms. Marissa was a wonderful host, and we would love to come back again. It was like a piece of heaven on earth!

Ontspanned, skoon en absoluut pragtig! Ons gaan gereeld na Groendraai River Cottages toe, ontvang elke keer baie vriendelike en hulpvaardige diens vanaf gasheer en alle werkers. Baie netjies en skoon, nog nooit teleurgestel nie.

Peaceful. Silver Carp. The house was very clean. Excellent location, breath of fresh air! Loved everything! The kitchen had everything a guest would need. The braai area is such a good place to spot the sunset. I loved the hot tub. The place is peaceful. The stay was amazing, the tranquility was on another level. Would recommend it to anyone needing time out.

Baie gerieflik en skoon. Wow, van die oomblik wat ons daar aangekom het. Die plek is toegerus met alles en meer. Dis baie skoon en die hot tubs maak vir heerlike ontspanning. Die plek sien my beslis weer!

Beautiful, spotless cottage with amazing views. Highly recommended! I had an amazing stay at Groenddraai Cottages! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered the most stunning views from the house. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable weekend getaway. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay. I’ll happily visit again!

Peaceful, very safe, house and farm very clean. It was very peaceful and very safe. Waking up with the sound of birds and the view from the stoep was amazing.
