Disappointing stay at Intaka Island / Waters Edge. Disappointed. Firstly, there was no gas for cooking. I reported it to you at 10:00, and the gas was replaced at 17:30. It was only attended to after the owner was contacted. Prior to that, the website took really no initiative or provided feedback to address this impasse. The temperature in Cape Town was very hot, and the apartment does not have an air conditioner. We stayed at the apartment for 12 nights, and the apartment was not cleaned for that entire time. We were not told that drying clothing on a washing line on the balcony is prohibited. There was difficulty in operating the washing machine and stove. Instructions need to be placed on or near these appliances. Finally, your call agents need to undergo training in addressing complaints promptly and with regular feedback. The bed in the main bedroom was bad for my sore back. Weak internet signal. Watching YouTube in the evenings caused a lot of buffering and made viewing pleasure unbearable. BUT, thank you to the website. I will no longer book my accommodation with the website and, in general, self-catering accommodation.
