Clean, friendly. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and we had clean, fresh towels waiting on our bed.

Cool but the risks mentioned above raise doubt to go back unless the above are fixed. Very much concerned about the safety inside. The shower height poses a high risk; improvements need to be done urgently. The stairs to the room are also very far apart, which poses a risk as well. Otherwise, nice cool jam place but you must be sober there.

Has potential but the location is a big let down. Location & noise. We unfortunately did not realise before booking that the property is located right next to the N2 highway. As a result, sleep was extremely difficult due to constant traffic, especially heavy trucks passing throughout the night. At times, the trucks were so loud that they actually shook the room. Staff. The receptionist was very professional, friendly, and helpful. However, it felt like she was expected to handle the responsibilities of an entire team on her own, which is unfortunate. Cleanliness & room comfort. There were no towels in our room upon arrival, and the bed sheets had visible stains. The couches in the lounge area also appeared not to have been cleaned for a very long time. Additionally, our room did not have an electric fan, which made the night uncomfortably hot. The WiFi also barely reached our room. Facilities & atmosphere. A fire is lit every evening, which creates a nice atmosphere, and the on-site canteen is definitely a plus. Safety & security. From a security perspective, it felt fairly easy for someone to tailgate an incoming vehicle and gain access to the property. There was only one unarmed security guard on site during the night. Overall. Overall, this place has potential but clearly needs more care, maintenance, and attention to detail to meet expectations.
