Blissful 2-family long weekend in a well-appointed house with spectacular views. We had a blissful long weekend at Melk Houte Bosch. The house is large and airy, the bedrooms are comfortable, with spacious and well-appointed bathrooms, and there is a huge entertainment area. The views were spectacular, and we would happily return.

Special memories made. Our group of friends had a wonderful weekend together at Melk Houte Bosch Manor House. The home is large enough for everyone to have their own space or to gather and hang out together. The views are spectacular and the sunsets are gorgeous. All four bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and we had more than enough fridge and freezer space - always important on a stay with friends or family when you have a lot of food and drinks to keep cold. It was incredibly hot in Swellendam over the February weekend we stayed, so chilling in the pool and enjoying the amazing views was a firm favourite for everyone. We will definitely be back.

As above. Loved waking up to cows in the field with their friend the sheep, about 10 zebras including 3 babies visited shortly, a few ostriches and plenty of Blue Cranes. Lovely walks, stunning sunsets, in the middle of nowhere pure peace and quiet! Lovely 5-6 km walk through the farm to the Breede River.

Beautiful house with breathtaking views. What a wonderful stay! The house was very spacious with each bedroom beautifully decorated. We enjoyed seeing the various animals, such as zebra, ostrich and cattle. Not to mention the absolutely stunning views we marvelled at while enjoying the pool and outside area. A gem!
