Restful, peaceful and beautiful stay with facilities of an excellent standard. We had a wonderful weekend stay at Mogonono Guest Cottage. Our hostess was great, the venue and the view of the dam were both lovely. The cottage had everything you could possibly need for a stay - very well equipped. Having access to the pool was a real gift as it was so hot - the pool was sparkly clean and refreshing. We were superbly impressed with everything at Mogonono; it is just a pity that it only sleeps 4 people as we would love to bring more of the family to enjoy a longer holiday together. That being said, we loved our weekend there - thank you. Dinokeng itself is a wonderful nature reserve; the roads are very well kept and the road markers are clear, visible and in very good condition - the park is really well looked after and well maintained. We have been going to Pilansberg for many years and have slowly (and very sadly) watched the decline and degradation of the facilities, the hides, the roads and the sign boards over the years. It has been so heartbreaking for us to go and observe this, but now imagine what joy we have found in discovering Dinokeng. Well done to all the management, staff and ground crew who continue with the excellent upkeep of the nature reserve - we will definitely be visiting again and also definitely be telling our friends about it. Next time maybe there will be a hide at one of the big dams where we can sit at the water's edge and watch the birds and animals.

Great breakaway. Just what we needed as a family.

Lekker rustige gemaklike naweek weg. Dit was 'n lekker naweek in 'n rustige omgewing met wild wat tot amper op jou stoep kom wei. Alles wat mens nodig het om te ontspan en net bietjie te herlaai.

Absolutely beautiful. We had an amazing time, my kids were in their element and thoroughly enjoyed the nature around us and the beauty of the cottage.

Adventurous, exciting, comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mogonono Guest Cottage! Honestly, I expected less for the price, but we were pleasantly surprised — everything we needed was there. The cottage was well-equipped and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. One small suggestion would be to improve the water pressure or update the shower head — the current setup makes it feel like you've had an epidural while showering! But that’s really the only downside we experienced. Everything else was great. The waterhole nearby attracts a lot of animals, which was such a bonus to watch right from the cottage. We left feeling completely relaxed and refreshed. The staff we met were very friendly, and even their pets made us feel welcome. We’re definitely going back to Mogonono Guest Cottage — it was truly a pleasant and memorable stay.
