Extraordinary peaceful cottage. This place is simply extraordinary. From the moment you arrive, you feel completely immersed in nature, surrounded by wildlife, lush greenery, and breathtaking rolling hills. It is the kind of setting that makes you forget the rest of the world exists. The cottage itself is impeccably equipped. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cook a proper meal, and the two braai spots (one inside, one outside) are a fantastic touch. We chose to braai outside, and with that view stretching out in front of us, it was honestly one of the highlights of the entire trip. Afterwards, we rounded off the evening in the hot tub, the perfect way to end a perfect night under the stars. Inside, every detail has been taken care of. The beds and pillows are genuinely comfortable, the bathroom is spotless, and the overall quality throughout the cottage is well above what you would typically expect from a self-catering stay. The estate is vast enough that we could go for morning and evening walks without ever feeling like we were running out of space to explore, something we truly appreciated. Jaco was an outstanding host. Attentive, responsive, and genuinely warm, he replied to WhatsApp messages almost instantly whenever we had a question. That kind of hospitality makes a real difference. Our only regret? Not booking more nights. We will absolutely be back.

Weg van die geroesemoes. Nooiensboom Cottage is ’n rustige, privaat wegbreek in die natuur. Die gasheer het regtig moeite gedoen om seker te maak ons is te alle tye gemaklik. Die kothuis is netjies en goed toegerus, en die Knysna-loeriepaar wat gereeld rondom die kothuis gesien is, het die verblyf ekstra spesiaal gemaak. Dit is ’n heerlike plek om te ontspan en regtig weg te breek. Ons sal beslis weer terugkom.

Netjies en absolute rustigheid. Ons het die stilte en rustigheid so geniet. Elke ding op sy plek en alles wat ons nodig gehad het. Net wat mens nodig het om uit die stad te ontsnap. Ons eerste oggend het die mis oor die koppe gehang, wat 'n pragtige uitsig. Jaco het ook gereeld seker gemaak alles is reg. Ons sal vir seker weer kom kuier.

Ons kon heerlik binne of buite braai en in die warm bad ontspan, omring deur die rustigheid en stilte van die natuur. Die gasheer was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam. Ons het ons verblyf baie geniet en beveel dit beslis aan vir ’n rustige wegbreek.

It truly feels like a world away from the noise and rush of city life. The amenities were outstanding. We loved the Carbo 3 hot tub—perfect for unwinding while taking in the peaceful views. Inside, the fireplace created a warm and cozy atmosphere at night, and the indoor braai made it easy to enjoy relaxed meals without worrying about the weather. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. What truly made our stay exceptional was the host. He was incredibly hospitable and accommodating, making us feel welcome and well taken care of from start to finish. We highly recommend Nooiensboom to anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature in comfort and style.
