Spacious, well-equipped family getaway, private! Relaxing! Awesome! True gem! We had a beautiful, relaxing weekend at Oogbosch. The house was amazingly big enough for two families, and having an ensuite for every bedroom was a huge plus. I have seen the pictures online, but I was stunned by the actual place in person; it looked much better in person and it took me back to when I was a kid, with very prestigious antiques. The plot was so huge we could have an Easter hunt and the kids went crazy looking for Easter eggs; it was an amazing experience for them. The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The teens found the upstairs a bit spooky, but they still had a great time and also ended up sleeping upstairs! They turned it into a cinema, projecting movies on the wall to watch, which was epic fun to explore. Only heads-up for future guests is that there is a resident rescue cat on the property—his name is Shadow and he is such a cutie, no bother at all to anyone. The sauna was a huge plus as well. Right around the corner from the accommodation was also a mini market as well as a lovely bakery, which has the best bread ever. We would definitely come back.

The teens found the loft a bit spooky, but they still had a great time! Only heads-up for future guests is that there is a resident rescue cat on the property—it would’ve been nice to know beforehand, but it didn't dampen our stay. We would definitely come back!

Amazing. 5 star! Honestly, one of the nicest places we've stayed at in South Africa. Beautiful hike with everything you need, and Christiaan and Wikis made sure we were well looked after and extremely responsive when needed. I would absolutely recommend it, especially for larger groups and families too!
