Fabulous house! Fabulous stay! Fabulous location! We've been warmly welcomed by Thomas! The house was clean and fresh and aired on arrival. The linen and towels were clean and smelled so nice! Well equipped kitchen. Our stay was too short to use the lovely braai on the beautiful stoep, and it wasn't cold enough for the fireplace! We absolutely loved our stay and would love to book it again for the 2026 Canola Grinder cycling event.

It was okay. We might not rent this house again. It was a comfortable house with a large patio for entertaining. There was no garden to speak of; even with water restrictions, the yard could have done with some water-wise plants because otherwise it just becomes a dust patch. Extremely noisy and loud neighbours playing loud music from early on in the day onwards. Thomas, I believe, did try to address this noise with the neighbours.

Will be back on 3 day! We had a wonderful time - Poplier House was spacious and had everything one needed for self catering.

We loved the house, its location, the space and all the amenities! The only suggestion would be to remove the wood that is under the mattresses in the single beds upstairs, as it makes the beds so noisy.
