Secret Lowveld Eco Getaway is situated in White River along the Panorama Route, surrounded by macadamia, pecan and avocado orchards. The property offers a peaceful farm-style setting within easy reach of the Kruger National Park, the Lowveld Botanical Garden, hiking and mountain biking trails, and the Barberton Geo Trail, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Stone Cottage and Artist’s House are self-catering units, each accommodating 2 guests and set within a secluded garden environment. Both units have en-suite bathrooms with showers. Fully equipped kitchens are provided, featuring gas stoves, fridges, kettles, toasters and the necessary crockery, cutlery and cookware for self-catering. Outdoor areas include private patio spaces.

Set on a 4-hectare property, this eco-conscious getaway operates fully off-grid. Electricity is generated by solar panels and a micro-hydropower system, and a solar-powered electric vehicle charging station is available. Water is supplied from a borehole and filtered through UV and physical filtration systems. The garden is organically maintained and includes a food forest, indigenous planting and a vegetable garden, where seasonal produce may be picked for personal use. An eco swimming pool is available and operates without chemical treatments.

Communal facilities include unlimited Wi-Fi, and shared laundry facilities equipped with a washing machine, clothesline and iron. Free secure parking is provided on-site. Guests can visit the on-site Artists’ Press, where limited-edition hand-printed artworks are produced in collaboration with local artists. The property supports sustainable practices, including recycling, composting and the responsible use of natural resources. The garden attracts abundant birdlife and small wildlife species, enhancing the natural setting.
