Nice and warmly. I was welcomed very warmly, explained everything, room very nice and clean and everything needed to have a nice stay.

Fantastiese plekkie. Die plekkie was gemaklik en netjies en ons het lekker gebly. Die gasheer was baie vriendelik. Ons het die stilte en rustigheid wat ons gesoek het, gekry. Die area is baie veilig.

Dit was 'n rustige en ontspanne kuier met al die geriewe wat jy nodig het. Ons het baie lekker gebly.

Nee dankie, ek beveel glad nie Shell's Corner Cottage aan nie. Dit was rustig, maar baie warm in die woonstel. Michelle het eers die 3de dag van ons kuier, vir ons 'n waaier gegee. 'n Kombuis klein was vadoek, om kaste af te vee, sou baie gehelp het. Badkamer vensters wys straat toe, wat nie baie privaat is nie. Omdat dit groot vensters is en mense kan van die straat in sien.

Thank you for your review of our property. We always love hearing back from our guests. We are obviously concerned that you did not enjoy your stay with us and apologise for any inconvenience. It should be noted that on the morning of your arrival, I communicated with you both via LekkeSlaap and WhatsApp with a welcome letter and details about the space that you had reserved. I welcomed you both personally on arrival and showed you around. Indeed, the weather was extremely hot during the time that you stayed with us, and you are correct that I brought you a larger fan on day 3. However, there was a smaller fan available in the clothes cupboard and, when I checked in with you via WhatsApp, you let me know that you "slept like a baby". You requested information from me about the dustbin and I offered information and an extra black bag immediately. Had you informed me at any stage (since we were in constant contact via WhatsApp) that you needed an extra cloth in the kitchen, I would have happily obliged. It is always a bit of a balancing act with guests and how to gauge the amount of interaction required from us as hosts. We are quite aware that our guests visit our town (for the most part) for relaxation, peace, and enjoyment. In my experience, most guests prefer to be left without any interference from the hosts and are satisfied that we are on hand at any time (either in person or via cellphone) should any issues arise. Since my husband and I live on the property, and I work from home, your dissatisfaction at me only coming to see you on day 3 is quite a surprise to me. The bathroom window you speak of has window blocker stickers on it to allow for privacy. The garden directly in front of the window also has several shrubs planted to further ensure the privacy of our guests. The window is not large and can certainly be opened and closed at any time the guest wishes. We thank you once again for your review of our space. We apologise that your expectations were not met. We wish we could have had the opportunity to address your concerns during the week-long stay that you had with us and would have gladly assisted you in any way possible to ensure that your stay was memorable. The warm sea water and great accommodation, nothing beats it. Easy access and nice area. Close to the hospital. Facilities were great. The lady received us well. Knysna is a great holiday destination.

Loved my stay and will go back. It was lovely, peaceful and quiet. Michelle was very friendly and very accommodating.

A weekend away for a sports event. It was exactly as it's described: clean, peaceful and kitted with everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Michelle is friendly and available.
