Description
Set within the scenic Witzenberg Game Park, Steenbok Game Park Cottages - Mountain Cabin offers a peaceful countryside escape with mountain views in Tulbagh, approximately 6 km outside of Wolseley. It is ideal for couples or solo travellers seeking a quiet retreat where they have direct access to the surrounding nature.
This cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. The second bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the third bedroom contains 2 single beds. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Linen and bath towels are provided, however guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A dishwasher and washing machine are available for added convenience. The dining and lounging areas have comfortable seating for guests to dine and relax, and for guests' entertainment there is a TV and for comfort there is a fireplace that doubles as an indoor braai. Access to Wi-Fi is available.
Guests can enjoy an undercover patio with an outdoor dining area and a wood-fired hot tub, an enclosed garden area and a communal swimming pool. On-site, guests can enjoy tranquil walks, birdwatching and the natural beauty of the game park, with the chance to spot local wildlife in a quiet, uncrowded setting. The area is known for its vineyards, mountain passes and outdoor activities, with attractions including Bainskloof Pass, Witzenberg Valley and nearby wine estates.
