Will definitely go again. Absolutely unforgettable stay at The Leadwood Safari Lodge. Our stay at The Leadwood Safari Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality, breathtaking surroundings, and a level of service that truly made us feel special. The lodge is beautifully maintained, peaceful, and perfectly set in nature — a true safari escape. A special mention must go to the incredible staff, especially Vote and Josiah, who went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Their professionalism, friendliness, and genuine care stood out every single day. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their attention to detail made us feel completely at home. The accommodation was luxurious and comfortable, the atmosphere serene, and every moment felt thoughtfully curated. If you’re looking for a place that offers outstanding service, tranquility, and authentic safari hospitality, The Leadwood Safari Lodge is an absolute gem. We cannot recommend this lodge highly enough and are already looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent breakaway from the city within 2 hours' drive. Great bush breakaway from the city, in a very neat tented camp with extremely helpful guides and management.

Best glamping site around. Leadwood was great, the staff and our ranger were top class. Great facilities and comfort at its best. The wildlife on the game drives was out in full force too.

Beste honeymoon destination. Ek en my man het die 6 dae by Leadwood Safari baie geniet. Ons sal definitief weer 'n aand of 2 weer bespreek.

Amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, accommodation was very nice and there was enough bedding on the beds for winter. The wood heater in the tent was well needed and the privacy in the camp was great. The wood heated bath was amazing and it was my wife's favourite feature.

Beautiful glamping tent with woodfired hot tub. The Leadwood Safari Camp is such a beautiful place with friendly staff and amazing facilities. My husband and I stayed over for a long weekend and had such a blast staying in the glamping tent, relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying the outdoor shower and bath. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely be going back.

Best glamping escape, into a big 5 reserve, close to Jhb. I have stayed at Leadwood Safari Camp, four times in less than a year. This is the perfect escape out of the city, giving you that luxury camping feel. It has all the luxuries you need to feel like you are on holiday, while still giving you the feeling like you are camping in the bush. They really do cater to kids, so it's a perfect getaway for your little one's first safari, and also not a far drive for them out of Johannesburg; my 9-year-old loves it so much. They also hands down have the best bath that has you looking through the fence into Dinokeng.
