We really enjoyed our stay at the log cabin and would recommend it for shorter stays such as long weekends. Pros: Well located in Magoebaskloof and very central. The host was communicative ahead of time. Clean and well maintained with good pans and kitchen utensils. Firewood supply was excellent for both fireplace and braai. The fireplace in the cabin really warms the place up! Cabin feels private on the property. Neutral: WiFi is good but not amazing. Cons: Only a bathtub available - a shower would really have been appreciated. I can see this being a bit of a bottleneck when travelling with children as well. The light in the kitchen is not as good as it could be - when using the stove you are blocking the light. An extra light on the wall would be amazing. The cabin does not receive a lot of sun and as such can be quite cold but the fireplace remedies this well. Overall I would say priced appropriately and well suited for smaller families or couples.

It was awesome. Will go there again. It was really the best getaway in a long time. Such a beautiful place with a warm welcome atmosphere. Very neat and everything is in the cabin that was needed.

Gorgeous cabin with super friendly hostess, gem of a find, loved my stay! What a gem of a place in the heart of the Magoebaskloof mountain region. Absolutely gorgeous surroundings, crisp clean air with just the sounds of nature at night as your company, and ooh the lush colourful gardens and being surrounded by high trees is just great. Now let's talk about the log cabin I stayed in, most comfortable with all your self-catering needs. Such a friendly and helpful hostess. Thank you so much for your hospitality and as mentioned, I will be back.

Ons het lekker afgeskakel en gerus. Ons het heerlik gekuier en die Log Cabin was 'n goeie basis om die res van Magoebaskloof te verken. Die kageltjie het ook lekker gebrand in die aande terwyl dit saggies buite gereën het.
