Lovely City Bowl stay. We enjoyed our stay. The host did an amazing job to get the apartment ready for us in time after having had huge challenges with the previous guests. Clean and well-equipped.

Skoon, uitsig, goeie geriewe, waarde vir geld, veilig. Ons het heerlik gebly by The Rubik 2005. Die woonstel was skoon en netjies en is sentraal geleë. Dit is voorwaar 'n besondere uitsig so oor die stad, veral saans. Hulle bied ook veilige parkering. Ons het 'n paar aanbevelings aan die eienaars gestuur wat die verblyf sal verbeter, soos ekstra hangplek vir handdoeke.

Plek was skoon en netjies. Genoeg ruimte vir alle gaste. Kombuis is besonders. Baie lekker gebly, The Rubik moet asb. net 'n naambord by hul ingang aanbring. Het 2 maal verbygerij.

Lack of honest communication from rental company and non-existing customer service. 1. An incorrect building number to enter the parking garage; instead of saying the building is number 19 Loop Street, they advised it's 17 Loop Street. I had called specifically and asked for the address because we were pressed for time, and we drove past the building and had to circle back in bumper-to-bumper pre-rugby match traffic. 2. The lock box code to enter the apartment was not provided - I had to call past 17:00 to ask for a lock box code telephonically. 3. Nobody informed us ahead of time that the TV in the en-suite bedroom was not working. 4. Fans outside the bedroom (with en-suite) on the opposite building made a noise the entire time we were there; we heard it in the lounge and louder in the bedroom. It's like you are in an airplane the entire night. Also, nothing was said about this. 5. The Wi-Fi in the apartment was not working; we rebooted the router and none of the passwords worked. The property rental company was called and could not assist. 6. The towels are as hard as sandpaper. Compared to other apartments in the same price range, we stayed at this apartment and service fell flat and was disappointing. Yes, the apartment has views, but so do many other modern apartments in Cape Town CBD for the same price range; however, other apartments we stayed at had better views and service. The issues experienced were relayed to the property rental company after our stay, but to this day we haven’t received any response.
