Frustrating. I paid double due to booking options on the platform.

We had a nice stay. The place is very neat and beautiful, and the service is very good. . The only problem I have is that we were looking for a family room for a family of 4. On the website you cannot book one room for 4 people, although the cottage has a Kingsize bed and two single beds in it. So, we then had to book the cottage and the King's suite at R5000 for two nights and had to pay in full in advance. In the end we only used the cottage, as our children are still in primary school. (which would actually only cost around R3000 if we had the option to book correctly). I expressed my frustration to the owner, but she simply said there is nothing she can do for us, I should just talk about this with a good night's sleep.

Don't judge a book by its cover.

Great, the most understated place I have ever been to. From outside, it's good, but inside it's a gem. You feel the personal touch and care in the room, almost at a 5 star hotel rate. The owner is a delight, one of a kind who is in touch with her business like a pro. The place has huge value for money and one of a kind.

First and foremost, Mrs. Cornél’s hospitality was the warmest I’ve ever received thus far from anyone. The helpers are just as kind. Anyone looking for a place far away from home but still would like to feel “at” home should definitely go there.
