Description

Welcome to Thorn Tree Bush Camp, celebrating 10 years of bush-veld hospitality from 2016 to 2026, where the wild calls and memories are made by the firelight.

Located in the Dinokeng Game Reserve near Hammanskraal, we offer a true Big 5 experience in a free-roaming, malaria-free reserve.

This is bush-veld living at its best. Nights come alive with lion roars, jackals calling, bush-babies, owls, and the hum of the wild under star-filled skies.

Choose from a cosy cottage or unique tented camps, each offering privacy and a connection to nature. Spend your evenings around your private fire, cool off in the pool on hot days, or gather at the boma for a relaxed braai or potjie.

No television, only the bush experience, with screens available nearby if required.

Our small shop stocks essentials like firewood, ice, snacks, and drinks, and you can book guided game drives and bush walks directly with us.

Please note that conservation fees for the reserve are excluded from the rates and are payable directly prior to entry.
