Relaxing and pleasurable, but the house needs some TLC. We were 10 people, plus one 1-year-old, spent 5 nights at the accommodation. The house is big, sufficient for a large family or group of friends, very spacious, most of the rooms are interconnected, so you walk through the rooms to get to some of them. A 10-minute walk from the beach, great view from the house. We had quite a few hiccups. The house needs a lot of work and attention. The main sliding door is not locking. We ran out of electricity on the first full day. WiFi wasn't working; a technician had to come in to fix it. There was no hot water for the main house where most of the occupants were on the second morning; the plug point that the geyser was plugged into was faulty. We had to use our own login for TV apps. There was a notification to clean before we left or arrange for a cleaning service; however, we had to rewash the cutlery, utensils, and cookware before use due to cleanliness. The upstairs shower was leaking to downstairs and constantly blocking, even though the owner did clean out the shower drain upstairs when we reported it, but it still kept blocking. There was a nail in the floorboard upstairs that someone stubbed their toe on, but luckily did not break skin; the host removed the nail afterwards. The oven wasn't working on the first night; we had to Google to figure it out because the owners couldn't assist either; the timer needed to be set before it worked. The microwave stopped working on the second day. The food preparation sink was leaking. The kettles are rusty. The back area is open, with no banister or rail on the stoep, and about a meter from the ground; please bear this in mind when you have little ones with you. For the first two days, we had to constantly contact the host and owners for assistance; they were very helpful, apologetic, and quick to address our concerns, coming to assist as soon as they could. They also offered us an additional night to circumvent all the issues we experienced or a late checkout, which we took them up on. Regardless of all the issues, we still had a pleasant and relaxing stay.

Comfortable. The house was comfortable and clean. However, it is in need of a lot of maintenance, e.g. locks on doors are broken, the cold water taps in some of the showers do not work, so the water is only scalding hot, and some of the kitchen utensils, pots and pans are very old and need replacing.

There is actually enough free parking per vehicle, but in the instance that you are refering to, one apartment had 3 vehicles instead of the allowed allocation of 1 vehicle only. Great place to stay - but come prepared. We had a lovely stay, it was close to the beach. Cool communal area.

Baie lekker middag en aand op die Weskus. Ons het 'n plekkie gesoek aan die Weskus vir een aand saam met ons hond en watter ongelooflike mense en plekkie op hierdie besondere plekkie. Sal dit vir enige iemand aanbeveel.
