Spesiale, unieke gemak. Wat 'n lieflike tyd in die mooiste huis en tuin! Ek het elke dag op verskillende plekke gaan sit en alles om my so waardeer. Anna was 'n wonderlike gasvrou, baie dankie. Kan hoogs aanbeveel. Ek sal baie graag weer hier bly.

Good overnight stay in a nice area. Our stay was comfortable, the bed firm, lovely cotton sheets, it was spotless and the staff friendly. Be aware that the room is upstairs, thus not optimal for elderly people needing to carry heavier luggage up the stairs. The room was also quite hot and airless, but a fan was provided. Tea, instant coffee, sugar and coffee creamer were provided. It would have been nice to have fresh milk as well as water. The decor was not to our taste. It is somewhat cluttered with pictures and occasional tables. The window coverings in the room were odd, which made opening the windows impossible. The bathroom is very spacious. There is no door, just a curtain between the bedroom and bathroom. The shower cubicle is small and the water leaked out of the doors, but a bathmat was provided. There was some foliage in a large beer mug, an odd choice for a vase. The swimming pool was lovely, as were the gardens, making an early morning swim a real treat! Overall, this guesthouse provided our needs well; my recommendation would depend on what others would require in a guesthouse.

Gemaklik en stil. Baie lekker ligging, baie gemaklik en woonbuurt lekker stil. Baie goed gewerk vir 'n werkstrippie.

Fitted what was needed for our stay. Clean basic accommodation for a short stay for a family funeral, location and service very good. Recommended for the Randburg/Linden area. It didn't help that there was no water, but I think that given the repeated incidents of this in Johannesburg, the installation of an alternative water source for showering really needs to be considered a priority.

Unfortunately, during your stay, there was unexpected water maintenance by the City of Johannesburg, which was highly inconvenient for everyone. This was the first time such an outage has directly affected us, but we completely understand the frustration it caused. We are actively looking into alternative water solutions to ensure more reliable access for our guests in the future. 'n Liefdevolle tuiste. My man het 'n operasie ondergaan by JHB Surgical Hospital. Ek en my dogter het 'n veilige, skoon, vriendelike, stil, bekostigbare hawe daar naby gevind by 5th Avenue Gooseberry Guest House, en empatie op die koop gevind in die mense van die huis! Hulle plaas 'n groot premie op rustigheid met kennisgewings dat jy konsidererend moet wees en nie raas nie. Saterdagoggend speel die sagte musiek in die rustige sitkamer. Vir my was dit soos 'n tuiste.
