Absolutely stunning place for a holiday.

Such a beautiful home, it's an ideal place for relaxing. The house is very well-equipped, clean, neat and tidy. The view was breathtaking. Friendly and helpful hosts, thank you.

House good poor location.

The house was good, spacious and had a lovely sea view. It had all the facilities, but unfortunately there was an Eskom outage for over 2 days, so we had no fridge or WiFi. Lighting in and outside the house was set up for power outages. We were disappointed with the area, which is run down and needs a good clean up.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused by the extended Eskom outage during your stay. While power outages are unfortunately beyond our control, we understand how frustrating they can be, especially when they affect essential amenities like the fridge and WiFi. We do our best to mitigate these issues by providing backup lighting, and we will continue exploring further ways to enhance our guests' comfort during such occurrences.

Regarding the area, we understand your concerns and agree that there are improvements needed in the surroundings. We are actively involved in local initiatives aimed at revitalising the community, as we believe in making our neighbourhood as welcoming as possible for both residents and visitors.

We appreciate your constructive comments and hope to welcome you back in the future under better circumstances. Should you choose to stay with us again, we’ll do everything we can to ensure a more enjoyable experience.

Dit was 'n wonderlike vakansie by A Whale's Tale Beach House.

Die huis is pragtig en netjies, met WiFi en DStv, asook fans en aircons oral. Gary en Michelle het ons baie welkom laat voel met alles wat hulle vir ons en ons diere-kinders gedoen het. Die huis het 'n pragtige see-uitsig en 'n lekker braai-area, alle geriewe soos byvoorbeeld tuimeldroër, wasmasjien ens. Ons beveel A Whale's Tale aan vir almal, ons het sopas 'n wonderlike vakansie daar gehad en beplan nou al om ons volgende een weer daar te hê.

Wat 'n wonderlike belewenis, die mense en die plek is pragtig.

Garry en Michelle is wonderlike mense en hul plek is absoluut pragtig. Meer as net 'n vakansieplek, jou eie huisie by die see.

Onvergeetlike vakansie!

Wonderlike rustige atmosfeer! Die dreuning van die see, voëlgeluide, net wat 'n mens nodig het om heerlik te rus. Netjiese huis met alles wat 'n mens nodig het. Baie dankie vir 'n heerlike bederf vakansie! Kan nie wag om weer te gaan nie!

Ons het 'n wonderlike tyd gehad.

Ons moes Maart 2020 ons vakansie uitstel nadat ons reeds by The Whales Tale geboek het vir die week, die eienaars het geen probleem gehad om ons vakansie vir die 2021 jaar te boek nie. Ons is hartlik ontvang en het dit regtig baie waardeer. Ons het regtig lekker gerus en het ons tyd geniet.

The Whales Tale was incredible!

This was more than just a home away from home. It has absolutely everything you need and more. The host, Gary, went out of his way to accommodate our needs, and even arrived with a surprise birthday cake and balloon for my father in law! So special. Much thought has gone into what guests may need when they stay there. The decor and layout of the house is fantastic too. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely be back.
