Spectacular. Firstly, I want to thank Lionel, the host/owner, for the warm welcome. I had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The view from my patio was amazing; I could see the blue ocean and the mountain. I would recommend anyone to go!

I left well rested and felt very safe during my stay. The children and I had a beautiful stay. The view was breathtaking and the stay was one of the best in a long time. Very friendly and welcoming owner. I will definitely go back and recommend the establishment to colleagues and family members. Looking forward to our next stay there.

My stay was pleasant, amazing and relaxed. My stay at African Dawn was phenomenal and amazing! I fell in love with the beautiful view and the kids loved every bit of their holiday and want to visit again!

Wonderful. I would definitely recommend African Dawn. The views are so beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful. The host, as I called him, is sweet, friendly, kind, and there's simply nothing he couldn't do, including cooking a delicious breakfast. We were well rested and would definitely go to African Dawn again.

Rustig, stil en ongelooflik verwelkomend. Baie dankie Lionel, ons sal weer kom! We had a lovely stay with Lionel at his guesthouse. He was a true gentleman and extremely helpful, even willing to assist with a piece of clothing I had forgotten! The property itself is beautiful, and the views were amazing. As it sometimes happens in our country, some locals have annexed empty properties in the area that you have to drive through to get to the African Dawn, but it's a very short drive and the views definitely made up for it by a long mile.

Lionel, die gasheer, is 'n awesome mens! Ek het lekker gebly, baie dankie! Ek het baie lekker gebly. Dit was net vir een aand en ek moes baie vroeg uit die volgende oggend, maar my kamer was regtig baie lekker. Die selfsorg eenheid bevat alles wat jy nodig het en dit was alles mooi netjies en skoon. Lionel, die gasheer, is so ongelooflik vriendelik en behulpsaam. Hy moes ook vroeg opstaan om my uit te laat die oggend, maar hy het dit gedoen met die grootste glimlag en vriendelikheid. Ek het dit baie waardeer! Ek sal definitief weer by African Dawn oorbly.

Beautiful, peaceful with great views. Would definitely return. Pleasant and friendly host. Room was comfortable. He demonstrated concern for guests' safety through security cameras and beams. Basin was a bit small. Extra storage space for toiletries would be welcoming. Kitchen cups were way too small for a good morning coffee. Coffee mugs can be improved. Note: to be read in conjunction with WiFi option selected. We could not connect to WiFi for 4 out of the 6 days. Hosts called in a technician to repair. A decent stay for get up and go.

Hi Faron. Thanks for the nice review. Just to let you know that we have much bigger mugs. Next time just ask. Good news. My clear view fence will be delivered and installed by 12 May. That will just give extra protection for vehicles. If it was not for guests' concerns about their cars, we would not have erected a fence as we do not have any security issues in our street. Sometimes making a place look like a prison can create concern. As mentioned to you, we have 4 guest houses in our street. None have had issues in the last 7 years. I always value my guests' input and make the necessary improvements where needed. I am a firm believer in continuous improvement. I have, for example, taken cognisance of your concern about the basin. We have a bigger basin and will be installing it as part of our improvements. It's just that nobody has ever complained about the basin size. We will also be installing a small cupboard in the bathroom for storage space. We have, however, used the cupboard behind the door and under the kitchen sink for toilet rolls and cleaning material storage. Once more, it was great having you as guests. Looking forward to hosting you again.

African Dawn was both a unique and great experience. The house has interesting views, great artwork with a perfect setup for young adult children. The host is warm and friendly, which made our stay even more memorable.
