Restful, restorative, peaceful. From the host, to the view, to the bedding, the treats, the birds, all exceptional. Meryl and Owen are warm and kind, making you feel at home. The accommodation has everything one needs, and it is clean and neat. In the cold weather, all the extra blankets, heater and lush duvets welcome you to linger a bit longer. The view is amazing, and we felt so spoilt by all the treats: chocolates on the beds, wine, sherry, milk, coffee, rusks and water. The nature reserve is so quiet and peaceful. All one hears is the chirps of the birds, which you can watch from your bed! If rest is the outcome, Agulhas Splendour is the answer!

The perfect family escape. What an incredible getaway! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The views are absolutely breathtaking, and the accommodation is spacious, spotless, and feels very safe and peaceful. The attention to detail was exceptional — chocolates on the bed, a lovely bottle of wine, sherry/port, snacks, fresh bottled water, fresh milk, rusks, and even firelighters and wood for the fire were all provided. These thoughtful touches made our stay feel extra special. The host was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed. We especially loved the big bath and the opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The spacious walk-in closet was also the perfect little nook for our baby’s camping cot, which made our stay with a little one even more comfortable. Our daughter absolutely loved the swing on the property, which was such a wonderful added bonus for families with children. A truly memorable stay, and we will definitely be back!

Ons verblyf by Agulhas Splendour was baie gerieflik en ontspannend. Die akkommodasie by Agulhas Splendour is baie stylvol en gerieflik. Die uitsig vanuit die huis oor die natuurreservaat en die see in die verte is 'n groot pluspunt. Meryl was baie vriendelik en gasvry. Ons verblyf was baie ontspannend.

Stunning location! Best value-for-money getaway in Agulhas. A week at Agulhas Splendour didn't feel enough! What an absolute gem, located in a private reserve and boasting magnificent views. I loved how quiet and calm the neighbourhood was, and super safe as well. Exactly the right place if you just want to get away from it all. The apartment had any and all amenities you may need, was super clean, and felt luxurious from the moment I walked in. Meryl and Owen were the icing on the cake, being welcoming and attentive hosts, who went out of their way to ensure that everything was perfect.
