Lovely accommodation. The hostess was super friendly. Nice and central. Easy access to highways and major routes. A lovely place to stay.

Highly recommended. Hostess fabulous.

Very friendly welcome. Hostess responded immediately to any requests. Perfect accommodation as advertised. Lush bed! Clean, comfortable and secure. No load shedding. Will be back!

I had a wonderful peaceful stay at the Avo Cottage.

The stay was great, I liked the fact that the room was cleaned every second day. The shower door opening is a bit tiny for a big guy like me, but everything else was great.

Home away from home.

Stay was very nice.

Stay was very nice but needs some upgrading. 1) Room has damp. 2) Bar fridge is too small and very uncomfortable. 3) 2-plate stove is tripping and dangerous; it needs a proper stove. 4) Bath and hand towels need to be replaced; they are very old and uncomfortable to use. 5) The room was not a 2-bedroom. It was a single room with a double bed and a sleeper couch.

I only wish that during your stay, when asked if you were comfortable or needed anything, you would have informed me of the points you mentioned above. I always find feedback helpful as it will not only provide more insight for me but improve the comfort of your stay.

The points you mention could have easily been addressed and sorted during your stay, rather than reading it as a review afterwards and not having the opportunity to have made your stay even better.

I hope you stay with us again and see if we can get an A+

Comfortable stay.

We found the place easily. The parking was secure and under cover, a big plus as the day was quite hot. The main room is nicely laid out and the bed was firm but soft, just right for us. We did not prepare any meals, but the kitchen looked adequate for a short stay. We did make tea and coffee, and they supplied enough tea and coffee to have with rusks. They even had rooibos tea. We found the duvet too hot and asked for a top sheet, and it was supplied. The bathroom was great, although the shower cubicle is a bit small (about 0.75 x 0.75 metres). The area is nice and quiet.
