Important Information – Please Read Before Booking
Children and infants are welcome at the property; however, guests with younger children should note that certain features such as balconies, split-level terraces, and unfenced pools may present safety risks. Children must be supervised at all times and stay at the property at their own risk. Pets are not permitted, and smoking and parties are strictly prohibited.
Please be aware that rates for 2025/26 have been significantly reduced due to ongoing construction next door. While the level of noise may vary from extremely loud to completely quiet, we cannot make any guarantees. By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge this and accept that no further compensation will be offered upon arrival or during your stay due to construction activity. (Updated September 2024)
All guests will be required to complete a separate guest registration form prior to arrival in order to facilitate the check-in process.
Electricity and Load-Shedding
South Africa is currently experiencing periods of load-shedding—unscheduled electricity outages typically lasting 2.5 hours or more. These outages are often unpredictable. Many property owners have taken steps to minimise disruptions, but guests are advised to download the "ESP – The Loadshedding App" to track schedules and plan accordingly. We regret any inconvenience caused; however, as this situation is controlled by national electricity providers, neither Turnkey365 nor the property owner can offer compensation, refunds, or discounts due to load-shedding.
Noise and Neighbourhood Guidelines
The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area with strict noise control regulations enforced by the body corporate and city council. No parties of any kind are allowed. Noise or music audible to neighbours is not permitted between 9pm and 7am on weekdays, and between 10pm and 7am on weekends. Hooting or shouting in the street is not allowed at any time. Guests with visitors should inform them that parking is extremely limited, and they must not block driveways or garages.
Group Bookings
Groups consisting solely of solo travellers are only accepted by prior arrangement. Bachelor or bachelorette party groups are not permitted.
Travel Insurance
It is essential that guests obtain adequate, comprehensive travel insurance that includes cancellation cover and protection against theft of personal belongings.
Monthly Stays
For stays booked at a monthly discounted rate, please note that electricity will be charged separately. Daily housekeeping is not included in the rate but may be arranged at an additional cost, subject to availability. Standard amenities such as Wi-Fi and DStv (where applicable) are included, as is reasonable water usage, monitored in line with municipal limits. Garden and pool maintenance will be provided where permitted.
