Fantastic weekend getaway. Our weekend at Bokmakierie Cabin in the Tankwa Karoo was simply incredible. If you are looking for absolute peace, quiet and to reconnect with nature, this is the perfect place. The surroundings are breathtaking – vast landscapes, wildlife roaming freely and at night a starry sky that you will not see anywhere else. The cabin is cozy, well equipped and offers everything one needs to truly relax and break away from the busy everyday life. No noise, no people – just silence, nature and peace of mind. We went home completely recharged. We will definitely return again!

Without a doubt my favourite spot in the Karoo. Magical place and a perfect Karoo getaway. Cabin was beautifully furnished and immaculate in every possible way.

Stunning three day escape to Bokmakierie bungalow! What a gem of a cabin, from electrically operated shade blinds to a beautifully situated hot tub with loads of wood supplies (correctly cut into lengths) to fit the hot tub and indoor fireplace, attention to detail was extremely evident. From upmarket cutlery and cookware to a perfect hot water gas system. What a stunning view of the Karoo awaits when you wake, such a stunning little romantic getaway!
