Lekker rustig. Baie lekker gebly. Dis 'n pragtige woonplek langs die dam.

Was 'n wonderlike naweek. Baie dankie, ons het 'n fantastiese tyd gehad.

It was average. The front door glass was shattered. Not nice to see on arrival. It could have been replaced. The TV shelf was hanging, could also be replaced. The garage was so messy. The shower could have had soap in it, considering the value of this place. They could have supplied a bag of wood out of curiosity. The bottom shower head is broken, sprays onto the wall, can't shower there. The bottom room bed creaks and a slat is broken, so it's uncomfortable on one side. Very disappointing.

Not great value for money. This might look like a great option but actually isn't. The price charged is not justified for what you get. We paid more than R7000 for two nights and were not even provided with firewood. Shocking! The small swimming pool on the top balcony should be a Jacuzzi instead. There are several broken/loose tiles all over the place and quite a few in the kitchen that are about to break if you step on them. There is a very dangerous sliding window on one side of the top level that should have a railing to prevent a child or even an adult from falling through that window if it is open. How this house was approved for occupation by the municipality and how it can be advertised here with a window like that is mind-boggling as someone can get seriously injured or killed if he/she falls out that window next to the TV. The garage is full of the owner's goods and a boat so you cannot park your vehicle inside the garage. How can this be if it is advertised as paying for the entire house? No firewood and/or charcoal were made available so if you did not bring your own then it is a long drive back to town to get some. No electric blankets, heaters or aircon to warm up/cool rooms except in the one room. There are no TVs in any of the rooms so everyone ends up watching the same channel on the one TV. No soap bowls or stands in the showers so you have to put things on the floor. No towel rails or hooks. Really? For the price you pay, one would not expect to experience these issues and shortcomings. We travel a lot and I am not one to complain but this was not great value for money.
