Corner Cottage Self-catering

Clean large room. Communications not brilliant.

A month before our stay we had a phone call welcoming us that night, they had the wrong dates in their calendar! On the correct day, we arrived at the location to find no one present, so we phoned and were greeted by the manager and asked to change to a different accommodation located a few streets away from the one we booked. This was fine for us, although the new location was not fully self-catering (it had no eating utensils, plates, etc., which we needed for our evening meal). Also, being a Monday evening, there were no restaurants open. This was not a huge problem for us, and we made a plan with what we had in the car. The room and en-suite bathroom were clean and well decorated with a fridge and microwave. We had off-street parking. There were no other guests, and the manager lived off-site, so we had a very quiet evening.

We had a lovely stay. The host was amazing and very hospitable. The place is neat, clean and very safe. I would definitely want to visit again.
