Stil, gemaklik, oulik, netjies, vriendelik en bedagsaam. Ek het baie lekker gebly by die gastehuis. Die mense is vriendelik en die perseel asook kamers ongelooflik mooi. Mens kan sien hulle dink aan die gas wat daar moet bly. Sal dit definitief aanbeveel en hulle sal my weer sien!

Disappointed. I am very disappointed in this place. The "cleaner" there decided to steal my clothing after I forgot it there. We reached out and pleaded with them, as this was a gift from my mother just before she was brutally murdered. The cleaner claims there is nothing, which means she decided to steal it and make us out to be the lying party, as we damn well know the top was left there. This was the only clothing piece I had there. I'm very upset about this and how someone can think it is acceptable behaviour to take something that does not belong to you. I guess it flies very easily when you just claim, "Oh, it's not here." We know damn well it was left behind. This is shocking, to say the least. We were not heard and were just told straight away, "Oh, it's not there." Very disturbing behaviour. Definitely theft at its finest! Disgusting to accept that a client has to accept theft and just let it be! Would have rated the place with excellent stars, but unfortunately, theft, lies and cover-up do not sit right with me, and all this damn bullshit for something that does not belong to you. May the person who stole my belonging never rest at night so you can experience what I am because it was a precious last gift from my dead family member. And also, we don't like having to fill in other forms via WhatsApp with our ID card information and photos after we booked via the website, because all our information is available on the website. Loading our ID photos onto another platform for this is not on and definitely not a trusted source.

Teleurgestel. Looked like good value for the price on the photos. Upon arrival, I had to walk through quite deep water to get to the keypad at the gate. The major issue was that they don't have firewalls between the rooms, so I could hear my neighbours all evening. When I switched the lights off at bedtime, my ceiling was slightly illuminated from my neighbour's lights which were still on. Also, the mattress felt like it had a lump in the middle. I had to sleep exactly in the middle of the bed; otherwise, it felt like I was sleeping on a slanted surface. I requested breakfast on the check-in form, but the dining room was closed this morning and the cleaning lady said they didn't receive my request for breakfast. Very disappointed. Would gladly pay more and get a proper and peaceful stay elsewhere.

Hello CPC Systems This saddens us to the core to see that you were not satisfied! We sincerely apologise for missing your breakfast instruction - we have updated our standard operating procedure so it does not happen again - I can just imagine what must have gone through your mind at that moment - we are greatly embarrassed. The rain was relentless over the time you came and the rainwater did flood the gate area - we will be installing drainage systems soon. We don't have fire walls, as the house was built in the 1960s with sandstone. We do however, rebuild where necessary when we renovate a room and will look into the matter in the room you stayed in. The bed: the mattress is a plush mattress and not firm - we are in the process of replacing all plush mattresses as a plush mattress is not suitable for plus-size or tall individuals. We humbly apologise for the experience you had, and would love to (if you would accept) offer you 1 night's free stay in one of our newly renovated rooms in an attempt to exonerate us in your view. Great value for money! The host was in constant communication throughout our trip. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, neat, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Lekker sentrale oornagplekkie. Ons het vir besigheid gereis en Edenville Gastehuis was uitstekend! Hilda was so vriendelik en het ons mooi rondgewys. Ons het dadelik tuis gevoel. Die kamers is netjies en skoon, met alles wat mens nodig het vir oornagverblyf. Die gastehuis is ook lekker sentraal. Ek sal dit definitief kan aanbeveel!
