Not what I expected.

The first day, the sliding door handle broke because the screws were rusted. I did complain about that, but it has never been looked at. Secondly, the pool is in the back close to the owner's house, which has a seating area for them to eat and have guests over. So, there's no way you can access the pool anytime. We were lucky they went out for dinner, so it gave us a chance to use the pool (the owner said they were going for dinner and we could use the pool). Thirdly, the owner's son came and told us that they are having a lot of guests over and we can use the beach if we are also going to have guests over. The good part is that it's safe and quiet. Also, if it rains, there's no way of having a braai because there is no shelter outside. The owner's son told me to put the braai stand in the corner of the door outside, which resulted in us getting wet while having a braai (it states in the ad that there are braai facilities). Well, it surely did not cater for rainy weather.

Great.

Wish the ocean was swim friendly and the kitchen more practical for a "self catering" specifically the stove and the fridge. And the bedroom carpet needs some deodorising.
