Kierieklapper Self-catering Kruger Bush Lodge

Amazing location, fantastic value for money.

Our stay was very comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed. The lodge is in the perfect place to hear and see animals walking past, and close enough to the river to hear the water running through. The showers were a bit inconsistent with the hot water, and the pantry fridge didn't work too well, which spoiled a few of our fresh items. But other than those small issues, everything was great. The housekeeping was amazing in keeping the place neat and tidy for our big group. Everything was easy to organize, including massages and game drives. Overall, an amazing stay and experience.

Regretful and would never recommend.

Set in an idyllic location, but that's where it ends. My family and I stayed for 2 nights. The place is not very hygienically kept. The kitchen area is overrun with cockroaches, and the dishwasher is dirty inside. There is an icemaker and a supermarket fridge, but we threw away a whole supper after discovering the creepy crawlers. You just don't feel like you want to eat there or live there. The rooms are serviced daily, but no detergents and soaps are used. We walked past the helper and saw a bucket of black water being used to clean each room. We might sound like clean freaks, but basic cleaning (soap and water) would have sufficed for us. Definitely a regrettable booking.

Swembad met 'n view.

Ons was 'n groep vriende wat gegaan het en het 'n heerlike tyd beleef. Pragtige kamers, kombuis uitstekend toegerus, maar die beste was die swembad met die sitplek en dak. Heeldag in 38 grade gesit in die swembad en vir die bos gekyk. Sal beslis aanbeveel. Het ook pragtige leeus op die wildsrit gesien en renosters. Lieflike plek.

Beautiful house and stunning location!

Kierieklapper is a well-appointed house with everything you could possibly need. The layout was perfect for our large family group and the setting was beautiful!

Awesome, relaxing Big 5 experience.

We were a large group (10 people) of family and friends. The house was awesome and big and we never felt cramped or in each other space. Communication with the owner is on point and everything you need is provided with the stay. I will definitely go back to the Kierieklapper to go and recharge and enjoy the awesome Big 5 experience that they offer.

Beautiful place in the African wilderness. Magical.

Could not have asked for more, it was magical a beautiful place in the African paradise. Loved every minute and we got to experience the Big 5.

Beautiful house with everything one would need. Awesome bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and tastefully decorated house. The weekend was enjoyed by all and we will recommend Kierieklapper to all our friends and family.

Mens het nie woorde om dit te beskryf nie. Ek het nog nie so iets beleef nie.

Vir iemand wat die wildtuinplantgroei waardeer en sommer die diere hier by jou wil sien, is dit die plek. Ek het so 'n idee jy sal lank moet soek om beter te kry. Die akkommodasie laat 'n mens ademloos en die ruimte is onverbeterlik. Dan het ek nog nie eens die toebehore, ens. na verwys nie. Iets om op trots te wees.

Most beautiful birthday ever.

I honestly can't say enough nice things about our holiday at Kierieklapper. Firstly Ronel and Hartman are a 10/10, they are so sweet and amazing and helped to make our trip run smoothly. Our friends got lost on the way to the lodge and only arrived at midnight and the gate didn't want to open for them. We phoned Hartman at 12 night and they helped us to get them safely in. They went above and beyond. We watched elephants walk past us while sitting in the pool. We saw giraffes and little warthogs near our house. Magical from start to finish. Pumlani that helps out at the house is a 20/10 and I hope everyone treats him with respect because he is just a gem. We cooked and braaied every night and went on game drives and it was just beyond special. And for the boys there is a TV, so rugby and soccer will not be missed. I wouldn't watch TV though because it was just the most amazing bonding experience. I can't wait to book our next holiday! I loved it! Thank you Hartman, Ronel and Pumlani. Best holiday in years! Can't compare it to anywhere else in the world. Africa at its best. Most beautiful sunsets in the world.

Die huis is asemrowend mooi en perfek geleë met 'n pragtige uitsig van die rivier. Die wild kom eet reg voor die stoep. Die huis is perfek uitgelê vir die hele familie om besig te bly en iets het om te doen. Dit was 'n onvergeetlike ervaring en ons sal enige tyd teruggaan.
