Relaxing, homey, safe, enjoyable. Our stay at Maison du Bonheur was incredible. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. We stayed for five nights, and it truly began to feel like home. The house is fully equipped with a washing machine, braai, plenty of seating, and lots of thoughtful extras. Even if you forget something, chances are the house has a spare you can borrow. The kitchen is also very well stocked, which was incredibly helpful. The beach, cafés, Palmiet Rock Pools, penguins, and Bass Lake are all just 2–10 minutes away. The community in the area is lovely, it felt safe to run, and we felt very secure in the house at night. We can’t wait to return.

Wonderful, comfortable house with great views and pleasant walks to the beach. Absolutely wonderful stay. The house made us feel right at home as it was well equipped in the kitchen, had tea, coffee, coffee plunger, Nespresso machine, rusks, etc. Cooking in the kitchen was easy as everything was well placed and every utensil needed was available. There were even spices, herbs, etc. if we needed. Bedrooms were well sized and we did not feel cramped in them or the house.
