Description

Snyderskloof Karoo Cottage is a charming cottage built of stone collected from the veld, and it is nestled on a picturesque farm located 25 km from Matjiesfontein. Guests can enjoy a relaxing getaway experiencing the bright starry nights, magnificent views, and picturesque sunrises and sunsets of the Karoo.

The self-catering cottage comprises 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 7 guests. Two of the bedrooms contains queen sized beds and the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathrooms is fitted with a shower and a gas-operated geyser. For guests' convenience, linen, towels and hot water bottles are provided.

The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, a gas fridge with a freezer compartment, cooking utensils, a picnic basket and a flask. The lounge has a built-in fireplace, which doubles as a braai area and opens onto a wooden deck. A lapa and swimming pool with magnificent Karoo views are located outside the unit.

This unit does not have any electricity and is operated by gas appliances. There is a solar charged inverter to charge laptops, cellphones and Bluetooth speakers. Oil lamps and candles are provided.
