Chantal was wonderlik toe sy ons by die huis ontmoet het en seker gemaak het dat ons gelukkig is en weet waar alles is. Sy het vir ons wonderlike aanbevelings gemaak en dit het gevoel soos ons eie plek.

Our stay was very good. The place was safe and very clean.

We enjoyed our stay. The beach is close, and shops are nearby. Even when you request transport, it arrives, since it's a safe place.

Didn't expect our first Cape Town stay as Northern Capers would be this bad. Sad.

Host did not make us feel welcome. Firstly they said they expected a white man, which made them sound racist. They also said they searched for me on Facebook, which also seemed weird. They also asked to take a picture of my ID (made us feel like criminals). It was clear that this house was lived in by the host, as all cupboards were cable tied. This does not make you feel like you're on a holiday. Did not see that I had to pay a breakage deposit. Paid it nevertheless and no inspection was done before, but well after. If I had known, I wouldn't have taken this place. Owners should insure their furniture if they plan on having people book their place and not charge them a breakage deposit. The owner came to visit the property in the morning to switch on the pump and again to turn it off late afternoon. They should get a timer as this came across that they come to check on you. My family and I did not feel free, as they had to be careful to not break a cup or glass as to forfeit the deposit. This was a bad experience and would not recommend this place to anyone. If the owners want to rent out their place as accommodation, rather do it properly.
