A perfect getaway to a serene, picturesque location with a rich heritage! A last minute decision. We did not expect much (although the website pictures tell a different story), and boy oh boy were we wrong! We were blown away by the beautiful surrounding landscape, animals and heritage buildings of the mid 1800s that have been well preserved and maintained. We booked the 4 sleeper unit which overlooks a beautiful backdrop right from the main bedroom. The location is perfect with no sign of any vehicular traffic noise - just the sound of nature. Kids can run free and explore without the worry of crime. For the MTB lovers, you can explore some nice long gravel roads in and around the farm area - up to 30 km and more. The host was so kind and engaging. She took the time out to spend about 45 min with us to chat about the history of the place. You know you've made the right choice when your 11 and 15 year old kids request to stay longer please. We will definitely be visiting this place again - to gain a winter experience .

Breathtaking! Absolutely divine! Beautiful home and the setting is breathtaking. Amazing and peaceful farm location which is perfect for a getaway from the busy city life. A stay here will leave you revitalised!

Not quite the luxury advertised, exceptional setting and lovely hosts. Beautiful setting. The place could do with some much needed maintenance; for the price, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness and working order. The braai was functional but very shabby. The shower, however, was fantastic!

Alles 100% soos geadverteer! Dit is 'n interessante plek wat uitleg betref. Ons het die kuierstoep met die pragtige plaasuitsig die meeste geniet. Die plek is goed toegerus met uitstekende voorsiening vir beurtkrag, nie net wat ligte betref nie, maar ook n "inverter" wat die televisie kon aanhou tydens beurtkrag. Laastens was Melanie 'n uiters behulpsame gasvrou wat uitstekend gekommunikeer het.

Lovely place, welcoming host but water was a challenge. We had a lovely stay, the only unfortunate thing is that when there is no electricity you also have no water (no flushing toilets).

Extremely peaceful, gracious host, modern and clean. Our stay was more than comfortable with all amenities provided. The children thoroughly enjoyed the splash pool, this made our stay extra special.
