De luxe @ The Shed Farmstall & Lucern Lodge is a lovely thatched roof chalet located in the picturesque Great Karoo, along the N1 in Beaufort West. It is nestled on a working sheep farm, providing a peaceful and welcoming retreat, offering guests a comfortable "home away from home" experience amidst the serene Karoo landscape.
Accommodation is offered in 2 De Luxe units that can accommodate 4 guests each. The units are each furnished with 2 double beds and have private bathrooms fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
Each unit has a kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The lounge areas are furnished with comfy couches and extend to the outside areas with private braai areas.
Furthermore, this property has a farm stall and butchery offering a great selection of local products. Visitors can enjoy the famous Karoo olives, pickled garlic, and a variety of preserves and jams. At the butchery, the farm's renowned biltong, dry wors, and Karoo lamb are available.
During the season, food orders can be placed, with items like lamb chops, boerewors, salads, and braai bread on offer. Wood for the braai is available upon request, making it a convenient stop for those looking to enjoy a traditional South African braai experience.
