Arrival at Woodlands Gate is strictly from 13:00.
During the High Seasons such as Easter and Christmas, if there is 1 adult and 1 child sharing the same accommodation, the adult is charged the sharing rate.
Activities included in your stay are 2 scheduled game drives per person per day.
Springbok Lodge also offers Boma Dinners, Bush Breakfasts and Bass fishing, weather permitting.
Self-guided bush walks within the lodge-fenced area are very popular.
Additionally, guests can self-drive out of the reserve to explore the majestic Drakensberg and its surrounding area and participate in tours to the Battlefields.
Wheelchair accessibility:
Two tents, adjacent to the lodge have access via a ramp (instead of stairs), catering for wheelchair-bound guests and those with mobility challenges. The facilities in the tent are standard as per all our other tents.
The main lodge and boma are easily accessible by wheelchair and the lodge boasts a uniquely designed, wheelchair-accessible plunge pool.
