Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R750 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

By booking and staying in this apartment, guests (and their fellow guests) agree to abide by the house rules outlined below.

Parties and events, including open-invite gatherings, are strictly prohibited. No form of party, event, social gathering, or bringing pets (or similar activities) is allowed without prior express consent from the owner.

The maximum occupancy is limited to the number of guests stated in the listing. If unsure, it is generally one person per single bed or two people per queen-sized bed. Overnight guests not included in the reservation will incur a penalty, charged per person, per night.

Smoking is permitted only outside, and cigarette butts must be disposed of properly. The garden is not an ashtray.

Guests must dispose of left over food responsibly. Improper food waste management attracts pests like flies and cockroaches. Open plates of food should not be left around, and food and drinks are not allowed in the bedrooms.

Additional fees may apply for early check-ins and late check-outs, only if and when possible.

For stays longer than 7 days, a compulsory weekly cleaning fee of R300 applies. This covers general house cleaning, including dishes, floors (vacuuming and mopping), changing linen and towels, and cleaning bathrooms and the kitchen. Guests may choose the weekday for cleaning.

Dirty or partially cleaned pots, pans, crockery, or cutlery should not be put back into drawers. They should be left out or placed in the dishwasher for the cleaners to handle.

Fabric items (e.g., towels, bed linen, furniture covers, throws, curtains, etc.) found stained may incur additional cleaning fees. If stains cannot be removed, the guest may be responsible for replacing the damaged items.

There are other tenants living on the property, and the main house may also be occupied by guests. The driveway and parking area are shared, with the apartment separated from the main house by a double door and insulated roller shutter.
