Breakage Deposit
A refundable breakage deposit of R800 is payable directly to the property.
House Rules
This property is located within a nature reserve and natural bush environment. Wildlife, insects, reptiles, and uneven terrain may be present.
Guests are advised to remain alert at all times, also on the deck and the stairs.
No smoking allowed inside the house, smoking permitted in the braai area only
Quiet hours: 22:00 – 07:00, no noise audible between properties
Maximum occupancy: 6 guests, including children
No pets allowed
Fires only in the designated braai area; guests to bring their own firewood or charcoal.
Children must be supervised at all times - extra care is required on the deck, stairs, and around the hot tub.
Estate gates close at 19:30; arrival after this time is not permitted
Guests are advised to arrive before dark, because of wildlife, no lighting on the roads and possible potholes.
The final 5 km of access is via a well-maintained gravel road and across a low-water bridge.
Swimming, canoeing, and rowing in the dam are not permitted
Only licensed pontoon or barge-type vessels are allowed
Remain on designated roads and paths
Respect wildlife and the natural environment
No motorbikes or quad bikes allowed
You are welcome to walk around the estate and the bird sanctuary, but please respect the neighbours and the natural environment.
No TV or Wi-Fi – enjoy a true nature escape
Keep mosquito mesh doors closed (bats and monkeys may enter)
A R50 conservation fee per vehicle per night applies (included in your rate)
Estate security may issue fines for noise violations
Security reserves the right to inspect vehicles or premises if necessary
The Association may refuse entry or remove guests for rule violations
We recommend bringing:
