Warthogs Bush Lodge

The lodge itself was nice. Lovely setting.

It was just a bit disappointing that the management allowed a group of young men to party and play very loud music until 02h00 in the morning, until the load shedding put a stop to it. They disrupted everyone around them. This lodge boasts about how they encourage peace, quiet and tranquility by not having any TVs on site, but then allow this ridiculous behaviour. Very contradictory.

I had the pleasure of staying at Warthogs Bush Lodge for a night, and it was an exceptional experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, offering a great night's sleep, while the beautiful scenery outside my window added to the overall charm. The staff at Warthogs Bush Lodge were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel truly welcome. What stood out the most was the tranquil atmosphere, allowing me to unwind and escape the daily grind. I highly recommend Warthogs Bush Lodge for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Good relaxing break.

Great breakfast, nice and quiet, great boma in the evenings and meeting other couples / people. Went for 2 walks, nice views and quiet area. Restaurant food was quite good, basic but good.

Die omgewing is baie mooi, alhoewel die lodge instandhouding benodig. Die linne is oud en dun en die eenheid vertoon anders op die foto's as in werklikheid. Wees ook bewus dat daar nie 'n privaat braai-area vir gaste is nie en dat alle gaste op een plek braai. Dit het ongelukkig glad nie 'n rustige braai- en eetervaring aan ons gebied nie, omdat daar multi-kulturele musiek en gesprekke rondom een boma plaasgevind het. Die kamparea was raserig en ons het geensins bosveldstilte geniet nie.

It was a very nice stay. We did enjoy the breakfast. Very good accommodation.

Heerlike kuier in 'n rustige omgewing, met besonderse personeel wat uit hul pad gaan om jou verblyf vir besoekers so gemaklik moontlik te maak.

Hul kan dalk net noem parkering is nie by chalets nie, bagasie moet na chalets gedra word.

Tranquil setting, spacious accomodation and lovely breakfast.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Warthogs Lodge and would definitely return for a longer stay. It would be recommended that some upgrades be done at the room, a fresh coat of paint inside and some fresh curtains will freshen up the look. The electrical plugs where a bit sticky to use and the side lamp on the table did not work. the kitchen drawer lost a knob. Huge bed and was very comfortable. No condiments were available except salt & pepper at breakfast - we were advised it was finished. We will definitely come back for another stay.

We had a great stay, the best customer service ever. Vusi was great, consistent and always happy to serve us. You have a great team there.

Not for older travelers.

Too many random and uneven steps without handrails. Staff were pleasant, food acceptable. Why we were put in a rondavel that was so difficult to access with our suitcases, when the place was empty, is a mystery. Suggest put anyone over 50 in a rondavel they can wheel their luggage to. And access without climbing unprotected stairs. Especially after they have traveled all day.

Geen ligte, modder orals, geen krag, tente lek, stort het nie 'n deur gehad nie, toiletdeksel is los, die deur bly nie toe nie. Tente lek. Geen ligte.

Hulle is so gasvry en ons voorsien van alles wat ons nodig het. Sal beslis terug wees.
