"Lydenburg is a wonderful place to go to when you want to relax. There are a few things to do while you are there such as Graskop Gorge and God's Window which are both beautiful."

Die "Birds of Pry Sanctuary" net buite Dullstroom is 'n moet, maak gerus daar 'n draai. As jy van vleisbraai hou, vat maar jou eie vleis saam. Daar is net een winkel om kruideniers te koop. As jy van eet en "browse" hou, vat 'n goeie boek saam en geniet Dullstroom."

"I love Dullstroom! I love the peaceful energy about it, the (almost) quaintness and the friendliness of the locals. We went to Walkerson's for their recommended scones, but were sadly turned away as they had a wedding over the weekend, even thought it was already Sunday morning, they were cleaning up so we couldn't even go in to walk around. I would recommend someone in the village starts up scone baking, so people can rather support the villagers."

"Dullstroom as dorpie is pragtig wat baie aan die toerisme bedryf bied, ongelukkig doen die plaaslike regering afbreek aan die toerisme bedryf deur die swak toestand van paaie, in en rondom die dorp. Daar is verskeie slaggate tussen Belfast en Dullstroom en Dullstroom self se enigste pad is die hoofpad binne die dorp. Die paaie in die woongebied is ’n getuigskrif van swak dorpsbestuur."
