"I wasn't actually in Hermanus as such. Accommodation located in Vermont which is 'a sort of village' located around 5 km from Hermanus town proper. I did not have a car which put the town of Hermanus out of reach but my daughter stays in Vermont. Vermont is a beautiful, quiet 'suburb' right next to/near the sea/rocky coastline."
